So with the new line we finally come across the old East German type Hl signals! Sadly the majority of this line uses Ks signals. The Hl ones are closer to Risa and are based on the OSShD signal rules which govern much of Central and Eastern Europe. Here are the aspects. The W boards are where you wait and show Ra11. They can also show Ra12 if they are the yellow ones. They can be compact too.
An open black circle means a repeater signal. The distant signal marker is exactly the same as West Germany. A distance signal marker with a circle in the center means it is reduced distance to the main signal. This shows wrong main running. If it's flashing (Zs8) with a red main signal it means you can pass at danger with 40km/h prepared to run on the wrong track. If it's solid (Zs7) it means prepare to run on the wrong track following the main signal.
