    Apologies if already raised before...

Can you please fix it so that 64 bit version can run without requiring Steam to already be running in the background.

Steam has to be running in the background to be able to run either version of TS.

You can get around the click-Play-in-Steam-then-choose-which rigmarole by finding the 64 bit .exe in your Railworks directory and setting up a short cut to it on your desktop.

I know Steam needs to be running! Been playing Steam titles for years... I do run 64 bit from a desktop shortcut, but unless Steam has been activated first, it always prompts to do so - unlike 32 bit which is integrated to start Steam and launch the programme in one hit..

    This is true

64 bit requires an EXTRA DOUBLE CLICK OF THE MOUSE - such horrors

I have Steam launch at startup now, tbf it's a lot less intrusive than it used to be, so still only one click for me..

Ok not strictly true, one click to open the .bat file press option 1, 2 or 3 and then hit Enter but that's because I like the choice of the options pictured below depending on what I'm doing, modding, casually playing/testing or full blown playing the sim..

Being the lazy so and so I am the cmd window auto closes once it's opened all the required executables.

I used to have the cmd program open Steam for me too, if you don't want the options you can make and run everything with a single double click

    Thank you :)
It that difficult to remember to start up the Steam Client?
You have to do it with both 32 and 64 bit

I have a shortcut to the Steam Client on my desktop next to my Railworks 64 shortcut
Looking at one reminds me I have to click on the other

No you don't. With 32 bit it starts Steam in the background first, just like most other Steam programmes do. So it's quite a simple QOL request really and not really sure why it garnered quite such a hostile response. Reminds me of the bad old days on UKTS... ;)

Then your version must be different to mine.

I just tried the Desktop Shortcut for the 32 bit and it tells me I have to log in to Steam
This happens when I try 32 or 64 bit.

Which is what I did not understand what you meant

Well that's strange Peter as the 32 bit has always launched the programme straight away on both the PC and laptop, without any changes on my part!
