Excellent idea and travel time from end-to-end is 1 and 1/2 hours. If DTG or Union Workshop from China has to do the whole route they need to pay ¥3,608 (£23.88 due to £1 = ¥151.09 as of 2 May 2021) from Kansai Airport to Kyoto.
I'm not a big fan of these limited express trains, as I prefer more classic stock, but would probably enjoy this anway. An unique route, that's for sure. I bet taking a run from/to the airport would be fun.
I agree and if you apply that to the German & American routes Main Spessart Bahn gets RB58 towards Frankfurt Airport from Laufach using the HRR DB BR425. HMA gets the S1 Line Munich Hbf to Franz Joseph Strauss Airport. NEC Boston Providence has TF Green Airport if you chose MBTA since the track at TF Green Airport doesn't have 25kv 60hz which is USA Korea Western Japan voltage. TSW 2020 NEC Newark-New Rochelle has EWR Airport Railway Station. What we need is Nagoya Chubu Airport Railway.
I just found this video that shows (at 1:25) flashing yellow lights along the platform at Shin-Ōsaka Station - it would be cool to have this kind of stopping marker in gameplay. Unless they are not stopping markers and I'm imagining things.
If you mean the yellow lights under the platform, those are warning lights for passengers when getting on and off. The diamond-shaped ones you can see at 2:32 are stop markers for drivers.
Ah that makes sense, thank you. At first I thought the flashing lights were for stop markers because they flash in a direction away from passengers, but I guess the way they reflect on the train body (at around 2:40) is what warns the people on the platform.
