With all the layers added to HRR (or even just the MSB layer), its extremely busy and bustling. Can't wait for the HRR preservation, hopefully soon.
The more the merrier. Activity on a route greatly increases the immersion factor. I find I have little interest in long solitary routes, no matter how good the graphics are or how fast I'm going. Plenty of additional services are the key to my enjoyment. The BR363 services, for example, are made much more interesting with the constant flow of commuter services in the background.
