The article Electrostar Duet article has been updated and now gives us an insight on all the layers the BML will have! UPDATE: As we draw closer to the release of Rush Hour- London Commuter find out more about the services and layers you can look forward to on the busy Brighton Main Line. We aim to include an incredible 1,059 services for the BR Class 377 EMU, and 178 services for the BR Class 387 EMU across all platforms. Additional playable services for the BR Class 66, Southeastern BR Class 375 EMU, and Great Western Railway BR Class 166 DMU will also be available on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions of Rush Hour- London Commuter, taking those versions services to approximately 1,400 services. These additional playable locos and units also add AI traffic to the route, along with the inclusion of AI traffic from Great Western Railway BR Class 43 (HST), Southeastern BR Class 465/9 EMU, and a BR Class 09 at Lovers Walk. In total, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions have in excess of 4,000 drivable and AI non-drivable services. This busy 24-hour timetable truly immerses the player in the Rush Hour experience and gives a more realistic simulation of what it’s like to drive trains during such a hectic period.
My pc crashed just looking at the figures what an incredible number of services. Thank god there isnt a "complete 1,000 services" achievement... I hope this paves the way to much busier routes and hopefully (someday) a full BKL timetable if the dispatcher is improved.
All I can think of is it's representing Clapham diversions - HSTs are (or at least were) diverted to Waterloo if they can't/couldn't get into Paddington. https://www.flickr.com/photos/finnyus/24035496456/
It'll be A.I service's around the Clapham area heading to/from Waterloo on diverts due to engineering work at Paddington, last happened in 2015 I believe.
Almost guaranteed bugs somewhere in the timetable. But as long as they can pick them up and fix them quickly then I have no problem, otherwise it'll be another "shouldn't of been released in this state"....
I worry how the PS5 will cope with so many services. Playing Munich-Augsburg today was a jittery experience in places and it’s been the same on other routes including Cathcart Circle, Dresden and Boston.
I wish they had multiple dispatchers to spread the load. Cannot wait to see if the Timetable runs smoothly!
I think a fair few of these only run on a small portion of the line, but whether you like to drive or watch, there are good places to be for a lot of traffic.
I couldn't really tell in the stream but did Brighton station have Eastbourne/Seaford AI services? I saw a number of 377s stopped there but I am assuming they were all London services...it would be cool to see those ECW services represented at Brighton at least and taking that path towards London Rd
Not sure but people said there were trains sat in Brighton station with no PIS, the implication being they might be the AI only ECW services?
Couldn't see any on the stream, or in the article, but are there any railtour services? EDIT: Just rewatched the stream and Joe confirmed unfortunately he ran out of time so no railtours
I wonder what the playable services for the 375 will be? Diversions via Redhill? I don't know if anything has been confirmed, but they could appear at Brighton, even though they don't work there in real life.
375s are Redhill diversions, 2 an hour. HST is the Clapham diversion, although from what Joe said it only seems to be a few a day.
I for one am actually glad there's no railtour, I'd say it's something best left as a scenario due to the relative rarity of them in reality, it just breaks immersion that little bit to see it every time you drive. I'd happily welcome railtours back to service mode if they didn't run in every session, for instance if based on a percentage chance of it running or not.
