It's been a while since I played TSW2, 6 months at least, however after watching some recent streams of DRA and last week's BML I fully intend to purchase Rush Hour, in fact I can see myself from now on only playing routes from Rush Hour onwards as for me the improvement is night and day compared to previous routes, I don't think I can go back to older routes, even my beloved NTP. Please forgive me if this has been posted elsewhere, I did a quick search but couldn't find anything, would somebody be kind enough to list which routes and DLCs need to be owned to activate all layers/services on DRA and BML? I own most of the German routes already so hopefully I won't need to get many others, likewise I already own most of the British routes, most likely this has been mentioned in previous streams but I don't really fancy sitting through hours of streams, a job and 2 young children does that to you! DRA and BML have impressed me so much I absolutely need to make sure I'm getting all the layers on both routes. Many thanks.
So first of all, are you on PS4 or PS5 as that will determine if you have layers available, BML will not support any layers on PS4 due to RAM limitation on the console. Boston Sprinter has no layers to worry about. Riesa - Dresden Currently supports the BR 101 IC add on, which you will need to own both Hauptstrecke Rhein Rhur and the BR 101 loco add on, it also has an ICE 3 layer which comes from SKA (TSW 2 base route), however on PS4 this has been relegated to a separate time table now to assist with the crashing occurrences on the route, the DB BR 182 from the Rapid Transit loco add on is available, however this will now be removed as of the upcoming NRD update on all platforms due to compatibility issues, there is also the further risk that other locos/services may be removed from the route, however you can use the 112 & MRCE 182 from Hamburg Lucbeck, the 185.2 & BR 155 locos as substitution. As for BML, currently the confirmed layers are the 166 & HST from Great Western express, the 465 & 375 from Southeastern Highspeed, the class 66 from East Coastway, and the class 09 from west Somerset Railway, none of these will be available to PS4. The 465, HST & 09 are either static or AI only locos. I have a sneaking suspicion that the future 313 loco add on will also be available in a layer for the route but that is yet to be confirmed.

So it looks like I'll need Hamburg Lubeck and Southeastern, plus one or two DLC locos, not too bad then. Probably wait for the next PS Store sale and pick them up. FD1003, Lightning is my all time favourite aircraft, is that an A310 in your profile pic?
I like the old Airbuses too, fortunately I live right under one of the main flightpaths of East Mids Airport, so we get all sorts of cargo in and out. As for the Lightning, as you say it was designed with one purpose in mind and was unsurpassed for quite some time despite its limited range initially. Good info re Hamburg Lubeck, I'll look into that more and might pass on that then, if I can get away with it. Think it's the only German route I don't own other than Dresden.
Also to note, some people, myself included, are having issues with the DB BR 101 on PS5 - I bought it specifically to use on the new route, but when it's installed, all of the Dresden timetable mode services are crashing before they begin. I uninstalled it and everything works fine again so that's clearly the issue - hopefully will be solved soon.
Think I saw mention of this previously, again good info and duly noted. Hopefully this will be sorted out soon.
Ah yeah that is definitely something to look out for, although that issue, much like the missing route issue is bizarre in that it only seems to effect some.
