Powering America Part 1 Problem

Hi!
I wanted to ask you about The Powering America part 1
Loading coal and towing.
I reverse, low speed control, remove the independent brake and add traction, the icon above the independent brake lever hangs.
It's like it's not turned off and the job is not done. What I do wrong? Please tell me.

I had the exact same issue and this solution worked for me.

 

This is a bug of long-standing - Adam and his team know of it, but so far no fix. The above 'solution' sometimes works, but I have had it work about 20% of the time. The bug does not stop you from completing the scenario, but you never get credit for completion.
