    Hello World!
I am solo developer based in Latvia, actively playing Railworks since 2014.
Last three years I've been working on representation of the route from capital city of Latvia to my home city

Route is 44km commuter line, with 13 stops, there are three cities on its way: Riga, Olaine, Jelgava and it also covers suburbs (Tiraine, Ozolnieki, Cukurfabrika) and goes trough some villages (Cena, Dalbe, Jaunolaine)

My focus in this project was on accurate modeling of surroundings. Tried to represent locations more than sophisticated railway business. Therefore, route has around 700 unique 3d models, but has no signaling.

Together with route currently we have ER2-8029 EMU Train. Soviet electric train, which serves this route around 35 years, it is common train in post-USSR area, also widely spread in Russia, Ukraine etc.
I am constantly working on updating art part, but it has working cab, detailed interior of coaches (can be seen in video below) and some moving/scripted parts as well.

Train has authentic voice PIS system working with in-game controls! (can be heard in video)

There are plans for extension the route to Skulte village. It could possibly be Jelgava - Riga - Skulte way of driving it, meaning 110km of Railway (around 2hrs to drive the route)

I am attaching some screenshots, videos and other materials. If there is a interest on topic, I will continue building. Actually Riga-Jelgava part of the thing is already available, need to sort proper way of releasing it.

    Video showing full route:

There are more screenshots, which I will post later. Let me know, what u think about potential of such DLC!
P.S. Further work might include new rolling stock, such as ER2T-7117, for example. Couple renders of complete Cab Car as bonus :)

Hi. Thanks for your comment. Think I will give attempt and contact DTG to see, whether we can publish this in steam
Surely, first train was made from photos, therefore art looks simpler
Second EMU is already done in PBR Environment, this already looks better in game after baking process.

There is a render of PBR cab of new train (work in progress)

    Good day,

I am happy to see that someone has built a Latvian track. I'm in Latvia once a year and I've also taken the train to Ozolnieki a few times. You did a great job. You can recognize everything. Even the small station building in Ozolnieki has the same nameplate as in reality. Please please continue. I would be happy. Everyone should be able to see and drive their work and attention to detail. Many greetings from Germany
