With the release of the Meißen branch for Riesa - Dresden, the "need" for a BR146.0 has increased again. The BR146.0 (with Dostos) is the most common consist on the RE9 on Köln - Aachen, and from what i can find, it's the only consist on the S1 on Riesa - Dresden, which is why it is starting to become a more necessary add-on for realism. It is technically pretty similar to the BR101 (both of them are built by the same manufactorers around the same time period) and since it was the predecessor of the TRAXX platform, it has similar controls to the newer BR146.2. In general i think it would be a nice add-on to have since the TRAXX platform in TSW2 would be a bit more complete, while it's still different enough from other locomotives to not get repetetive or boring. I think it would also be a nice add-on because so far there is really only one good BR146.0 in any train simulator which is the vR/MF BR146.0 for TS2022, and i think it would be nice to have a good quality one in TSW2 BR146.0 http://www.baureihe110.de/146.htm specifications and a diagram It might seem similar to the BR146.2 if you don't know the differences, but it is a completely different locomotive, the only similar things are the general shape of the front and the cab layout. It is closer to a BR101 but it's still nowhere near the same.
So, we've been complaining about getting Dostos and Talent 2s again, but yet we suggest a locomotive that looks pretty similar to one that's already extensively used in several add-ons, at least for the untrained eye? No thanks. Not interested in something that looks so similar to the 146.2

I think the generalization of "we" is really not correct here, i am not complaining about getting Dostos or 442s again because i know that they are realistic on the routes that they come with. I am suggesting the BR146.0 since the BR146.2 is used on every BR146.x service in TSW2 (it should be BR146.3 on the RE1 on SKA and most of the services on HRR. And it should be a BR146.0 on the S1 on BRD + RE9 on SKA), replacing the BR146.2 on those 2 lines/services would make them more realistic and it would actually increase the diversity of rolling stock because it would prevent pretty much every BR146 Dosto service being (non-realistically) pulled by a BR146.2, like it is in TSW2 now. Basically in short, it wouldn't add more services, but it would replace the BR146.2 on some services to make them more realistic
Absolutely needed because it's the correct locomotive on DDR Riesa-Dresden and former Deutsche Bundesbahn SKA RRO HRR routes. On HRR DB BR146.0 takes 22 minutes to Run Duisburg Essen and also includes the correct start procedure is by going to the engine room to prime the battery possibly Sifa PZB switch. 146.0 can then serve as its base for the Freight and Dosto capable DB BR145 which can serve as the post German reunification equivalent to DB BR 143 Family
Oh yes 100% want it. It will also open up possibility of getting DB BR 186.0. Just really want it to get added
