Ive found that the class 387 has over 300 different locations to set the PIS to, I’m wondering if these are set in to some kind of big file thats generally used on future trains on future routes and the locations have been added to save it being done in the future. I also noticed some of the stations on the list do not exist, Sydenham for example is a residential area located in Leamington Spa and doesn’t have its own station.
Sydenham is also a station about 4 stations away from East Croydon (albeit up past Norword Junction on a bit of the route not modelled), but very much relevant. I am sure they are all relevant tbh in some way.
Yeah they touched on this in the first preview stream for BML, basically they loaded quite a large file into the PIS for various futureproofing and player choice reasons. As for Sydenham the one in game refers to Sydenham in Lewisham.
