Just out of curiosity I made this video where I ran class 387 on LGV Méditerranée standing start to 150 back to 0. Times are calculated by taking in game clock time at the frame action happened not the most precise but good enough imo. DC motor sound are from left channel and AC are from Right.
Thank you. But the area I'm in is not as demanding tho. My laptop is Ryzen 9 4900H and rtx2060. Setting are mostly medium to low except foliage to high and view distance as ultimate.
Wonderfully put together! With AC power, the 387 sure does take off. I'm curious though, are the motor sounds slightly different for the AC one? Cheers
Excellent idea and there's a reason for this is that Class 387/2 is rated to run 180 km/h 110 mph on 25kv 50hz that's why there's a difference
Press and hold cntl until it lights up then press and hold pan up until train have power. Oh and if you are not in a area in sehs where there are overhead lines then pantograph won't raise up as in game in scans for overhead lines to determine how high up pantograph should raise.
I put it on SEHS last night thinking it would go well but the best I got was 124mph ... Might have to run it the other way towards the city so its down hill.
You mean 150 mph 240 km/h conversion is 1 mi = 1.609 km km to mi is 1km = 0.6214 mi. 125 mph is 200 km/h.
Oh yeah I didn't notice yours was in KM/H r4g3nony - thanks driverwoods#1787 - I think I'll do it again going the other way and see if its better going downhill. It seems to be up gradient most of the way out of the city in the tunnels. The question is will it stop at the other end lol.
Indeed, it was. The vehicle needed a longer runway in order to butter the landing. Well, at least the buffers did its job!
The train crashed the historic building of the french city and rammed into approximately 48 houses and baguette shops, angering the french authorities and citizens for the loss of freshly made baguettes.
AC and DC refer to the electric supply source - Alternating Current at 25,000 volts or DC at 750 volts Or a band . It's a long way to the top when you want to rock and roll.
Robust means strong, able to withstand their environment. In this context it means when the train hits them nothing happens to them. They either walk through the train or they get captured and end up inside it. It will be interesting to see if you answer since apparently you're leaving. Paul
