I’m a little worried that the 187 is coming out without a preview stream, we as a customer base don’t know what to expect and we could be giving out money on something that isn’t good(not saying it will be) we don’t know anything about it except some screenshots for which it looks great but let’s hope the sounds are great too
I also find it a little strange what Skyhook and DTG are doing there. But we can also see it that way, we don't have to buy everything on day one. Especially RH showed me that sometimes it is better to wait.
Yes, it’s annoying. This would have been a day 1 purchase, but now I have to wait a couple of days and wait for the feedback. No big deal really- I’m sure the chat on the launch stream will spot anything major.
Nothing against Sam, but that won't be a normal Preview Stream as we are used to. Sam probably doesn't know all the details that Skyhook (and Rivet) put into their trains
As a PS5 player, any new DLC is permanently off the table until such time I don’t have to delete any more existing DLC. Also, the sheer number of bugs in the three Rush Hour routes has left me bitterly disappointed. I might not buy anything else until these three routes are brought up to a satisfactory standard - which might never happen (given DTG’s track record of fixing problems).
No offense taken at all - I freely admit to being far from expert. I'm hoping to be able to run the stream as a "you request it, I show it" stream. We'd have loved to be able to run a preview but were unable to get anyone from Skyhook to come along and show off their work. Hopefully this "review" stream will give you sufficient insight to make an educated decision on whether or not the 187 is for you.
Might I ask if there will be a thread to post questions or requests before the stream (akin to some of the bigger route preview streams) or will you run the stream just based on chat?
I'll run through all the standard preview bits and pieces, but yes a pre-stream questions thread is fine (if you'd like to set it up in Suggestions) I just can't guarantee to get all the necessary answers.
