As you can see from the pictures, the stop marker is in wrong place on platform 3 at gatwick airport. I am on a 12 car, which should take me to the red signal, but nope half the train is on platform and rest is way behind.
Also the terminating 12 car trains on the east side of the station stop well short of the 12 car marker so the back of the train hangs off the platform and aprears to block the down main lines. also when is the train booked back to Victoria as CIS screen shows the next terminator but if the train starts there its the wrong side of the signal already. I need to do some 387 services to see what is what but twice on 377 services to Brighton a 12 car 387 turns up behind be and is short of the 12 car markers.
Yeah that definitely a possibility for sure. If the stop markers were in the right places, trains wouldnt get stuck.
I think the platform is modeled too short because even when you stop at bit past the 12 car stop marker poll, the last door still hangs off the platform ramp. You have to jam the cab right up to the signal to get all 24 doors on the platform.
Yeah, i moved the train to the actual stop point and all doors were on platform and could still see the red signal
