Class 158 For West Cornwall Local

    The 158 at the time was a very new train, only entering service in september 1990.

    The 158 is part of the sprinter family, with a top speed of 90 mph it is one of the faster sprinters, the 158 is usually formed of 2 coaches

    Overall, i feel like this train would be welcomed in to tsw2, and would stand out from the 150 that is confirmed

    Ok I’m not sure if that run there during the time period but either way this train for me is a must have. More Sprinters please :)

    I agree, so many opportunities for other routes as well such as the fife circle it probably wouldn't be too difficult to add a new livery and interior to it.

    I'm pretty sure the South West got a later batch - I don't remember them being common until 92-93 - Indeed around that time there were Cl47 + 3 or 4 coaches working locals because the 155s had gone off for conversion to 153s but the 158s were delayed.
