I thought it would be interesting to think about using the throttle of a flight stick on TSW as external hardware to control the trains that have a combined power/brake handle (BR422,425,423,CL465,CL395,CL375,CL377), but before making a suggestion I would like to know how many people actually own a flight stick. It's also interesting the possibility of this being able to be used on console, because there is already console compatible hardware. Thanks for taking your time to answer the survey.
I think that would add a lot of realism! Where I live, Raildriver can be very tricky to get and this is the next best option. And I think it was told that remapping of switches and buttons should be achieved first before we can use flight sticks.
Yes, I own a stick and a throttle quadrant. I´m using the latter in TSW 2 to control throttle and brake levers in-game with a 3rd-party program. Controlling trains with peripherals is fantastic and I seriously hope we´ll see official support of other hardware than the Rail Driver. It´s just so much more immersive than using the keyboard.
