If you've got a saved game, you can resume it from the route selection menu now No idea if this was there all along or if its new?
Noticed this the other day. I presume though we can still only have one save active across the whole game, not for each individual route?
No it just enables you to resume a saved game right away from the route menu. It will be displayed under the route you selected.
