The first thing mentioned in the stream yesterday was the passing of EasilyConfused, one of the stream moderators and long time member of this and many other railway related communities. Although I didn't know him personally, our paths have crossed several times, sometimes in agreement, others in disagreement. Regardless of our opinions and thoughts over a "game", at times like this they become irrelevant and I would like to pass on my sympathies and condolences to his family and friends.
This was definitely sad news at the beginning of yesterdays stream, it's hard to lose someone like him a solid member and a great mod on the streams. He will be sadly and sorely missed, and want to add my deepest sympathy and condolences to his family and friends.
I just picked this up off the ATS FB page. A shock to be sure. While I haven't had much to do with UKTS in recent years, John always came across as a gentleman. RIP and condolences to family and friends.
So sad to hear this news, will be missed by many on this and indeed a few other train sim related forums, RIP mate.
Very sad news indeed. I found him very helpful, always answering your questions in the chat and will be greatly missed RIP ec.
Admins/Moderators of forums etc are the enemies to lots of forum users who have crossed paths with them unceremoniously. I know this as I'm an admin of a FB group with over 10,000 members. We get quite a bit of hate PMs although one of the rules states that if you do so you will get removed from the group.
