It is the penultimate weekend in January and with the weather still rather nippy and a lot of lakes frozen, it is a great time to enter this weekend's live tournament and earn some vital league points as well as the in game XP and Tackle Points that are available. Gaining league points is vital as well as there is a 5 horse race for first plae on Xbox One at the moment and Aungoard on the PC has a new contender to deal with who currently leads him. The top 15 on both formats will be at the bottom of this post. This weekend is all about the humble roach. It may be our smallest fish in game but it is one of the prettiest with its big red eyes and silver body. Your challenge is to catch the biggest combined weight of roach as possible on The Observatory - only roach count and you have 5 x 30 minute attempts to record your best score! Maybe the float rod and a bloodworm will catch you a lot of smaller roach to build your weight up or perhaps fishing on the bottom with maggots will attract the bigger one's but whatever you do, make sure the bream and tench don't hone in on your bait as well!
