Firstly, this is a very important and helpful piece of information. Really changed my outlook on things. Honestly, I thought the normal thing was buy it the day before it releases, guess things have changed in the TSW Community since I last checked yesterday
I wish I could say the same. The quality of Rivets locomotives are unquestionably good but their routes so far released have been poor. West Cornwall if developed accurately, could be an awesome route that improves their credibility, but from what I have seen so far, from the streams available to view, they have missed the opportunity to create an awesome route as most of it is totally way out to reality. Buildings and trees along the line have been haphazardly placed, landmarks poorly designed and many missed. I sincerely hope that the extra time will give Rivet the chance to make the route both accurate and lifelike and deliver a truly awesome route. Only then will I buy it. TSW2 is an upmarket train simulator and Rivets design so far would be unsuitable for Train Simulator 2022, they must work hard to achieve the standard that DTG has set for TSW2. As it stands it is inadequate at the moment. DTG have done an incredible job on the BML as it has high density of buildings especially in London and really has the feel you are driving on the BML. I wish I could say the same for Rivet’s West Cornwall. WC is mainly a country route so Rivet have chosen an easy route to copy accurately with less density in population so they should be able to get it right and make look great. Rivet would improve their credibility if they produced WC as accurately as possible
