    Hi all

I've managed to capture the train doing something odd in this video. If you go to where the game clock is around 18:58 its a really odd effect.

    Any ideas?

    Do you mean this?

If so, it's something funky with the motion blur - I think they're yet to properly diagnose it, but the jist I got from Matt when it happened on a stream was that it thinks the vehicle is going very fast when it's stationary. I think it's random which may be impeding their efforts on the matter.

I did wonder, I’ve seen it on boston too when you pass the stationary freight trains. It seems to happen most times I’ve been past them.

Yeah it can happen to any stationary vehicle on any route, and it's been around a while. It normally only lasts a second, not as long as it did in the video - perhaps because you didn't move the camera?

Yeah I normally see it when passing, as I was capturing for a change I thought I’d pause

I think it is related to the branches that were in front of the camera when you panned a little faster in the wide radius.
Motion Blur was focused to the branches and got stuck. The fence that covered the 387 possibly fixed it again.

    At least that's my guess.

I've noticed it on BML and dresden but I've only ever come across when passing another train stopped at a signal, it is very random so I can see how difficult that would be to fix.
