PlayStation Cathcart Circle - Route Introduction Can't Be Completed (ps5)

I'm sure I've seen this reported elsewhere, but I can't find it again.

I've bought Cathcart Circle for PS 5 and cannot complete the route introduction which is not a great start. It gets to the first part of describing the HUD and after the text has been read, the HUD just remains flashing. Whatever I try it will not continue.

I can quit and carry on with other parts, so not so bad, but it annoys me that it's still showing the tutorials as incomplete.

 

Same happens to me on PC.
