This 60 mile route allows Avanti West Coast, London North Western Railway & freight to travel up the West Coast Mainline and not get caught up in the bustling city of Birmingham by diverting it via the Trent Valley. The stations on this route are:

    Lichfield Trent Valley
    [IMG]
    Rugeley Trent Valley
    [IMG]
    And Stafford

Trains that Normally cover this route (passenger wise) are:
    Class 390's

Potentially interesting section of the WCML.
Lots of scope for DLC too, from Class 25’s through AC electrics Classes 81 - 90, 304, 310 and 312 EMUs.

Thomson Interactive (now Rivet Games) built this route in Train Simulator to a good standard. It even included on-board announcements. Potentially some of the assets (and reference photos) could be re-used to help build it again for TSW2.

Also don't forget the freight. The WCML is synonymous with frequent freight traffic including the use of electric locomotives such as the Class 86, 90 and 92 (which would be a first for UK routes in TSW2).

My dream route for TSW 2. With Daventry Intermodal terminal included you could have freight services with 66s and 90s as well as the 390s and 350s on passenger

Excellent idea and if you are wondering if this was actually made by Rivet Games when they're called Thompson interactive in TS22 time for them to rework that TS22 classic route in TSW2.

Personally this is my favourite section of the WCML, would be great to see it, although it would be nice for their to be some freight traffic on it.

60 miles definitely isn't too big either, BML is around 50 so this is possible! And it would bring very iconic trains in-game

I agree but there is a catch to this is that the community has enough of Rivet games due to their rushed work on Arosa Line Isle of Wight. To prevent this route from ending up like that quality test the route and have Skyhook Games do the Scenery

Rivet do modelling and bulk scenery placement well, like I've said before they seem to work best with DTG who can then add sounds, physics and scenarios/timetable. Rivet alone doesn't seem to produce a particularly good outcome.
