The Leeds to Sheffield route is a line that travels between the major railway hub of Leeds and Sheffield, the terminus of all but 1 East Midlands Railway service. The route is around 40 - 45 miles long which make this an ideal route for Train Sim World 2. There are 2 separate lines that make this journey, one via Meadowhall and one via Rotherham Central, both of which I include in this proposal. Proposed Rolling Stock Class 220/221 (De-branded) . The class 220/221 operate the majority of the CrossCountry services along this route, but due to issues with the licensing for this TOC, they would be in a de-branded grey and brown livery, similar to that featured on the default Class 170 for TS20xx LNER Class 800/802 These units operate LNER services from Wakefield Westgate to Leeds as well as Leeds - Kings Cross for some AI traffic out of Leeds. Class 195 ‘Civity’ Class 195's operate the services between Leeds and Nottingham, as well as multiple other services in and out of Leeds Class 150/2 Operate all stops services from Leeds to Sheffield, as well as Sheffield to Huddersfield (Meadowhall). Possible DLC's Sheffield Supertram for services between Parkgate and Rotherham Central Class 158 for more variety on Leeds to Sheffield services Class 222 for EMR services between Leeds and Sheffield + AI at Sheffield.
Not a bad idea for tsw2 tbh. I've been on this route before and will be interesting to see it in the game.
if it was set in the modern era with the rolling stock such as class 150/158/195 northern rail, then i would 100% buy this, great suggestion
