Belgian route with typical trains from here in Belgium! From Antwerp Central to Brussels or maybe to the beach Ostend! With trains like the MS75 or the MS86!! Always an amazing view along the route!

Just a fun fact! The trains had typical names like the MS75 was called a “varkensneus” in english a pigs nose and the MS86 was called a “duikersbril” or in english divers goggles!

You already had me at "Belgian Route" but the fun facts make it even more desirable. Can't be long anymore before we get the big reveal of Antwerp > Brussels. :D

Amsterdam - Antwerpen trains, which if I remember correctly were referred to as "Benelux"-train, were operated by the NMBS 1100 series. I can't remember ever seeing the NS 1700 series operating these trains.

It was a lovely sight these trains. Also quite unique how they mixed the NS yellow-blue livery with the NMBS red livery.

Also in our family we called the train to Amsterdam the “Damme Damme” train! But that was just us being weird! XD

Train to Amsterdam? That's funny. Up north we always considered it the train to Antwerpen :P

Yes, the Belgian 1100 series, which according to internet is officially referred to as the HLE 11, not to be confused with the Dutch 1100 series. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belgian_Railways_Class_11 vs https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NS_Class_1100

If you're looking at a Belgian International route then take a look at my Suggestion L37 Aachen Hbf to Liège. The Implement is SNCB NMBS locomotives interacting with German Deutsche Bahn & Austrian ÖBB PZB LZB Sifa equipped locomotives. In the case of L37 it's the HLD77 7771-7871 stopping at Aachen Rothe Erde waiting for DB BR182 Rapid Transit DB BR185.2 Rallion Main Spessart Bahn & Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen DB BR187 the freight service from Aachen Rothe Erde towards Köln
