Hello again, today I'm suggesting the London Overground. Here is the London Overground map. (I'm not suggesting the entire Overground) The trains include: The class 378 (I don't know the construction date) This train is a Capitalstar. The class 710 (I don't know the construction date) This train is an Aventra. How do you feel about this suggestion?
1. I was talking to the Person that created the suggestion. 2. The Entirety of the London Overground is not possible to make.
Firstly the time the units were built is an easy Wikipedia search. Also the London Overground amounts for over 100 Miles and many stations, so not likely to happen. You'd be better off picking a line out of these.
Clapham Junction and towards New Cross seems like an obvious choice for a London Overground route as I think it would be beneficial for Brighton Main Line (and potentially any later London Bridge routes for Southern/Thameslink) regarding extra layers.
For Nostalgia purposes the classic Train Sim 21 West London and gospel Oak to barking lines. This Geoff Marshall video illustrate what the interior of Class 710s look like.
You could easily do the south eastern section of the route with the following routes and branches West Croydon - Highbury & Islington - 14.5 miles route length Clapham Junction - H&I - 13 miles route length, 6 miles as above Crystal Palace line - additional 1.2 miles New Cross line - additional 0.75 miles Total network length - 23.5 miles, 5 terminal stations. (route lengths taken from RTT)
Well i am currently working on a Better Version of the South London Network for TSW 2 as a Suggestion
I've said this before, North London Line might be the most straightforward being about 18 miles with around 20 stations. It would have a very busy timetable and lots of possibilities for freight. It also has power changeover procedures which adds a bit of interest. A Class 378 included could be layered onto Bakerloo Line too maybe for services between Queens Park and Harrow & Wealdstone. A Class 313 in LO livery with original low-back style seating could feature as a follow-on DLC.
Let that be an option for the Winter update. The North London Line all the way from Richmond to Stratford with the Class 378 in use.
Maybe try out the lines from Liverpool Street to Cheshunt, Chingford and Enfield Town (collectively known as Lea Valley Lines) using the latest Class 710 units. Maybe as an option the old Class 315 or maybe 317 can be added.
Broad Street to Richmond with 501s please, or being more up to date North Woolwich or Stratford to Richmond with 313s. Basically the North London Line in one form or another.
And could we add the branch from Euston to Watford junction add exchange app with the bakerloo line at Queens park up to Harrow winstone it goes up to Watford junction and we could have some bakerloo line AA in the background
Can somebody try and sell this, what's good about it? I have both the Overground TS routes and really it's rare I'll fire it up. Lots of cuttings and fast stop/starts meaning you never really see anything. Someone explain the appeal, help me get use out of my old DLC and sell this one!
Ok here we go it all depends branch lane you go for but there is a train baby 10 to 5-minutes the line is really really busy is extra busy during rush hour there is so the could be 4 branch lines on this route with the four branches it will be very very busy altogether we have about 24 or 25 stations but they go to different places around London 1 + 1 is dalston junction to New cross is is Highbury Islington to crystal palace and also Highbury Islington to West Croydon also from Highbury Islington to Clapham junction West Croydon could be added in the Brighton mainland as well and I'll make it more busy it is a really really busy route and also I really don't know where else to say a party it's like the bed keyline but it's more of the bakerloo line it's more busy and the bakerloo line and there is a lot of branches we could add
Well for me the appeal would be a retro version as noted above with classic "DC" units the 501's and running into Broad Street. However that should integrate into Bakerloo in turn extended back to Euston and down to Watford Junction, including the Croxley Green branch. That would give a bit of a network to explore rather than a linear route.
