Will you have to buy both DLCs to have any layers in general or will you still have the some layers if you have 1 of the 2 dlcs? I have the Northern Trans-Pennine but dont care for the BR Heavy Freight pack i dont mind not having the layers from that pack but if it means it have to own both to get any layers at all it kinda sucks. Hoping for some clarification on that end.
Thank you Very much, I respect that it seems fair and makes sense. I feel like that should be added to the news post
Having read it again, it’s still clear as mud. In the first paragraph, he says you do need both packs but in the second, he says you only need NTP to run 101s. I get that I won’t be able to run class 47s without Heavy Freight but I’m only really interested in the 101.
NTP only required for Class 101. No need for HF pack as the Class 101 isn’t in the HF pack, it’s in the NTP route. NTP and HF both required for the Class 47 loco services with the 08 doing the turnarounds. The 08 is in the HF pack, that’s why it’s required for the Class 47 runs. It’s quite clear.
The last 40 was withdrawn at least 6 years before 1992 which is the earliest this could be set based on the Regional livery of the 150.
it says "Please note, in order to access these additional services you will need to own Northern Trans-Pennine: Manchester - Leeds Route and the BR Heavy Freight Loco Pack for Train Sim World 2." No where does it say what happens if you have one without the other but thanks for your valuable quality input.
