So are we to understand that the new and improved west cornwall route is now being re released twice as broken as it was 2 weeks ago.Shocking to say the least...Maybe the less said the better.
Several recent post i just been been reading here suggest that the re released route has more problems then 2 weeks ago and there no added layers with it at least not yet,i guessing these are from places where it after midnight and have gotten the route and there doesn't appear to be a update for those who got the route 2 weeks ago. Update:The route just appeared in store but no update for those who already have the route. Plus it's been stated the new route has more problems then it did 2 weeks ago.
That’s bad as it was supposed to fix certain issues also I’d like to know where the Xbox update got to that was promised
Are we to also understand that we should always jump off the deep end? The member DB628 isn’t exactly the best resource for realistic information. An update is on its way, If it hasn’t yet. Certainly isn’t the end. I can say that it seems like a great route from my experience on it, which is before the update.
Must just be an Xbox problem. Have a PS4, downloaded it this morning and all the extra layers are available in timetable mode. Not had a chance to play yet, but it all looks good to me. Must be a nightmare for Xbox users, though
Just for the purposes of clarity, the update does not appear to have been released yet on Xbox, so the OP is still seeing the broken version that's been re-released by Microsoft with no updates.
Unbelievable they just can't get anything right lately. Very frustrating. Either it be rivet or dtg things have to improve or the game will die. I love the game but with each update and new issues appearing I'm playing less than I was.
I understand the frustration but think about it for a while, there are bug fixes being sent out to everyone meanwhile a third party developer is trying to release a new route with a version for at least 4 different versions of the game with DTG
From what I understand this blunder is with Microsoft, the updated files were submitted and it appears MS released the old version, instead of replacing it with the new updated version.
Yes, it doesn’t help when you have to rely on further cogs in the chain with Steam, Microsoft (and I assume a Sony equivalent?)
Even the release date for the DLC hasn't been changed by Microsoft under the Details section, so you have to dig through the Add-ons section of the Store, to find it from the 21st October, rather than a new release.
Chances are today's version has been classed as a patch for an existing addon so it's release slot won't alter. It could also mean the update delay is nothing more sinister than Microsoft's verification process doing it's thing. Anyhows I have to admit that West Cornwall looks good enough to finally bring my Rivet standoff to an end..... So much so that I'm going risk all and nip out B&Q this morning and buy a bag full for £7.99
Erm, it's actually not MS's fault, I've had that clarified. No further comments from me on this matter, but I'd like to see the post about it later from DTG.
Having d/l this morning and been disappointed, just gone back in and greeted with “West Cornwall needs an update”. 2.05GB d/ling on my One S as we type.
It seems to go from bad to worse! With promised layers thought I would shell out £24.99(?!) and as it had been worked on for 2 weeks to fix bugs...guess what...no layers, lots of scenarios broken.Let’s hope the update fixes it. Another round of sorrys on YouTube later tonight....
Xbox players should have an update for WCL now, which is the final version with layers and the changes. (There is still a 187 update to come, which is currently stuck with Microsoft).
Happily spotting away at Penzance as am (ahem) working from home. everything seems fine so far layers wise. Will leave driving reports to those with time
Do the livery edit trains still show up in timetable and senario planner meaning 150/2&37/5?they are currently there but after the update the option is gone from what i have seen,from those who are playing the just released version.
After downloading update it’s incredible how the 150/2 not only has nice sounding DSD but how the engine/gearbox performance has increased a job well done plus also destination blinds set to not in service when used in off rails mode well worth wait for patch on Xbox
