Why can't I rebind this key?
    It makes no sense.
I have rebound all other keys to my preferred setup, but still have to use Shift to run which is very cumbersome and clunky.
Is there any specific reason why this key is locked out from being able to change it ???

And yes, you can ask yourself why someone isn't using WASD. There's a raft of reasons not to use WASD. E.g. in MMO's where you need quick access to a number of hotbuttons then WASD is in the worst place on the entire keyboard. For someone who is handicapped you may not be fully able to use keys in a comfortable way with WASD. Someone who is left-handed and use left hand on the mouse may not want the entire length of their keyboard sticking out to the right of their desks. So on and so forth.

Anyways, can you please, in any upcoming update, allow us to rebind this key?

As a temporary workaround you could set the default movement on foot to "run" which stops you needing to press shift to run, you instead press it to stop running.

Didn’t know there was an “always run” option. I’ll give that a go as a workaround.

I would still like to be able to rebind the Run key though. I usually walk when going through train (switching driving directions), or when checking park brakes and such on outside of loco, railcars etc or just checking out stations.

Anyways, point is I swap between Run and Walk a lot. Issue would mostly be solved by just having Run key be a toggle rather than press and hold to Run.

    Thanks though. Appreciate the tip.
