Just seen a stream of an updated version and still no brake rub. DTG and rivet - why has this been allowed to pass quality control without any brake rub? This needs implementing immediately. Armstrong Powerhouse has the brake rub sound sources and they are exactly right so there is absolutely no excuse for this what so ever. Very poor show !!!
Hi Gary, just wanted to check if you'd seen the recent build? There were a couple of issues getting the final build live this morning. We believe this has the brake-rub included.
I bought it this afternoon as it came out, Around 3pm, would this be the final build? If so - it’s not noticeable.
Some of the sounds are very good. Bogie run for example is brilliant. Brake squeal - fab. Just lacking brake rub, from what I can tell anyway. Let me know and I’ll re download it if need be.
2m10 The correct sounds were recorded by AP so why have they not been implemented properly in this version?
Oh wait, I can just about hear some feeble attempt at brake rub. Very very quiet and like a little mouse hissing away there. At the very least it needs to whack the volume up 3000% Better still put the correct sound in
The penny has just dropped. They’ve used the external brake rub sound from AP sources rather than both the internal ( the iconic one ) and external. It is there, very very quiet but it’s external brake rub even from inside the cab. THATS why I couldn’t hear it …..well couldn’t hear what I was expecting to hear anyway.
