According the experience of downloading reskin and patch for trains and cross city line, I found out that the control won’t work if I update the game. Will this problem occurs in the pack form Armstrong powerhouse?

The West Midlands Pack patch by VP for the 323 is broken after the update because DTG made quite a lot of changes with that unit, VP are working on a fix but it's not done yet, in the meantime the sound fix patch by Steve Green over on ATS has been updated, I'm using it and can confirm it's working.

I have not had any issues whatsoever with any of the Armstrong Powerhouse products.

    Hi all,
I have an issue withe the old DMUs (Class 101 and others) which are upgraded with the AP Pro Sound Pack for those units. This pack also features a more realistic control, but I cannot drive the units in Free Roam mode anymore. Not sure if this due to TS2022 but it only appeared recently. Anybody else with the same issue? Standard scenarios work still fine.

    Best regards,
    Hubert

The game uses the same train files irrespective of the Scenario and any train that works in one will work in another.

What is stopping you moving in Free Roam - the driving is the same
I just ran a set on the Test Track without a problem - apart from not remembering the key to move the gear selector to First
Once there the E key was used to change up and no problems

You are right, I also tried it on the TestTraK without problems (Shift-E is the key to switch gears down).
However, on my own route the problem is still there: everything fine in Standard Scenarios. In Free Roam the train starts moving slowly when I select forward and release the brakes, but I cannot switch gears or operate the throttle.

So how can a route influence the control of a loco? Should be impossible but somehow there is an impact. Strange!

    Best regards,
    Hubert
