I have only been able to complete a full class 150 service and started a class 37 freight service but this route seems very well done! Whether your looking out at the coast or traveling up and down the hills on the track carved right through the forest. The 1990s time period is the perfect setting. Scenery and locomotives are really amazing to look at. Hard to believe Rivet only started making TSW2 content in 2019, great stuff!
I had a similar problem. I worked around it by closing each door manually. Not ideal but it got me through the scenario.
That didn't work for me, every time I manually closed one, it just opened again . Had to restart the scenario
My initial thoughts are in the West Cornwall thread in PC Discussion. I haven't driven the 150 yet but the route is pretty dire for payware. All sorts of issues, it looks like MSTS except the MSTS freeware Cornish route is 10x better. DTG, plese, please don't give Rivet a contract for something that really matters like WCML or Highland Line. They are not up to the job. the only reason not to refund is that it provides a good place to thrash classic diesels.
Epic Store user here: just bought it this afternoon, upon launching the game, Epic installed something that's called DLC18. The route doesn't even show up in-game. Any ideas what to do? Verified all files, no luck...
Your issue may be different as you are on PS5 https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/ps5-add-ons-update-–-5th-october-2021.46287/
Shame the route didn't include the Class 50. The "Cornish Caper" railtour did ACTUALLY run down the St Ives branch and would have made for an interesting Scenario?! http://www.cornwallrailwaysociety.o...s-in-cornwall--devon-part-2-1990-onwards.html
I'd love to buy it DTG but I'm still waiting for the 166 and HST to get RD support. Do that and you got a sale.
I had the same problem on one of the 313 scenarios, had to jump out and close each door manually, then I couldn't get back in my cab because it was rush hour so had to reopen one and run down the train! Made me about 8 minutes late but it was partially the passengers fault for blocking the platform!
Well I certainly understand wanting RD support for those locomotives, this is a dlc made by the 3rd party team Rivet games. DTG are responsible for RD support for the locomotives you mentioned!
Bit annoying the game doesn't give you time to set up the 150 before scheduled departure...by the time I've closed the doors and it's time to depart I'm either still setting up my lights or the AWS
Yes, I had that problem and the closing doors problem in the Coastal Takeover which made me about 5 minutes late. Still got a gold medal though!
Kind of disappointed that DTG haven't added to the developers' Bible "Thou shalt allow at least two minutes from spawn-in to service start". After BML I had hoped that was the new standard.
I think many of us are disappointed. We've been singing this refrain for quite some time, but DTG doesn't appear to be listening or, in this case, haven't passed it on to Rivet. It can't be that difficult, can it, to add a couple of minutes in the cab to throw some switches and set up the AWS.
Bought the route before it was pulled on Series S and enjoyed it despite the bugs. Got the update on re-release and it's a big improvement despite the bugs that are still there! Some of these routes could be so much better if the masteries for them actually worked and the overlays were decent but no. The masteries for this route are broken
Yeah, the bugs are still there... For £25, that's just unacceptable. Best refund I've done in my life.
I hope so m8. I'd really start enjoying the game if they were to arrive. Plus I'd buy more DLC..................
Anybody else having trouble getting doors closed on coastal takeover?it was saying doors are locked and they are still open?
