Afternoon I am new to trains and am still working bits out. I am using TS2022 with the Portsmouth Direct Line add-on and the AP Class 444/450 Enhancement Pack. When I was working I used to commute from Havant to Waterloo then get the tube to Russell Square. I not that clear on which GSM-R headcode to use on the route, and to what extent if any effect it has on the journey. I use 1Pxx or 2Pxx (1=express 2= Slow stopping) xx = hour of service 01-24 depending on the hour of departure. Great hobby that could get addictive!!
Hello and welcome to Train Simulator! This is quite the addictive hobby indeed. You picked a good train to start off with. AP is top quality. Check out some of their older EMUs, they've got the most gorgeous cabs in sim (in my view)

Ok but bear with me, all those weird symbols to cope with. A class 411 ( my new toy) departing Woking at 7:39 fast service to Waterloo will be the plan. Will work on it adding a few surprise extras.
