With the price of GPU's still mega high and that's lucky if the one you want is actually in stock (still aiming for the 3090!), I'm thinking of getting a 2nd hand 1080TI to accompany my trusty old current 1080TI for now which I currently use.

The other games I use work absolutely fine maxed out but TSW2 frame rates are slowing down with every new release and reskin I install, especially since the 4.26 update.

TrainSim-Matt I guess you are probably best to answer this but just wondering if any other users have SLI and notice any improvements.

Not sure it would be worth investing in tbh, you'd probably better off putting that money into the 3090 you're after. A lot of modern day titles have poor sli support, and others won't give you the fps boost you probably think you'll get. I wouldn't fault your gpu for the TSW2 performance, it's no secret that the sim is badly optimised, there are people here with high end 30 series cards that encounter issues.

TSW2 has some great artists and knowledgeable train buffs but not it seems the in-house expertise to implement advanced graphics technologies, such as SLI, HDR, Raytracing, DLSS etc. The need for SLI is questionable anyway these days (1 card is already hard enough to get). The game audio expertise is another area where they lack know-how, but they are actively recruiting I believe.

There is a reason SLI is basically dead. 1 powerful GPU will always be better than 2 weaker ones.
