The lines from Toton to Leicester and Barrow Hill total up to around 50 miles. This route would be set in the mid 1970's, with the majority of services operated by Peaks. Very good suggestion, don't forget that layers from NTP, TVL and WCL (for 37) would be briliant here! Also Class 20 can be the headcode light variant. Photo from Wikipedia by the way. By the way, Class 44, 46 and 25 can be layered into NTP, Class 20 and Class 56 into TVL and all of locos on this route can be layered into ECW, CCL and SEHS to do railtours on these routes.
I like the idea of including the Class 44 and 46 Peaks which I am surprised have not been introduced before as there are only really minor differences between them and the Class 45 from NTP. Should be fairly easy to do.
