...very well explained! Copyright claims mostly stand for cultural works like literature, art or music compositions. Referring to trains there is mainly the manufacturer or using company aspect, with their unique logos or liveries. As often explained in the DTG's livestreams, some companies want to be represented in TSW (a good advertising opportunity) and some don't like to be a part of it. But the more popular it gets, the more they'll think about it again. ;)

R.e. the last part, you're very much right. When ETS 2 first came out, only a handful of trucks were licensed, and they were struggling to get the others sorted. It wasn't until the game got significantly more popular, that manufacturers began to grant licenses to SCS. They've now grown to the point where manufacturers are revealing new models through ETS 2/ATS, which is amazing. So truly yes, if DTG play their cards right, we might well end up with some surprising and unexpected collaborations.

Also Farming Simulator has great support from agricultural machinery manufacturers. This is an excellent advertisement for manufacturers.

Can you provide production tools and resources? If you can't, does your answer to me make sense?

It takes one year to build a locomotive? too frightening!

Is it me or does it look like that the front windows are incorrect (to low and narrow), Also space between top edge of the window and the roof is to large. Is the G6 perhaps delivered with different cab profiles?

I think the front window may be a little narrower than in real life, but not much. The angles change a lot:
    If we compare this

    to the prototype

it looks somewhat narrow. It looks a lot better with a different angle though:

If it actually is a little narrow, it doesn't seem like much of an issue to me. Hard to spot and requires a lot of comparisons to even notice something may be a little smaller than in real life.

Unless an optical illusion (which it hopefully is), you could well be right. The window on the real thing seems to top out where the frame is angled towards the roof, whereas on the in game model, the window isn’t that high.

Don't forget the G6 is a highly costumisble loco, depending what the company that buys this loco wants so have. I think it's important to know which exact G6 was the real model to make a good comparison.

Looks like the TSW G6 cab window is a hybrid version of a Vossloh G400. Found the Pic below of a derailment, maybe tsg had a reason to change that because license issues. Today its common to customize your order, even with trains.
