The Mühldorf–Freilassing railway dates back to the 1890s, winding 65 km through the Bavarian countryside. The line is one of several in Germany yet to still be electrified, so services on the route are provided by diesel traction throughout. At Freilassing, the line joins the Rosenheim-Salzburg main line, immediately crossing the border into Austria before running the last few km into Salzburg the locos: the DB BR 245 is the DMU version of the 146.2 we have in game already, it will run passenger services on the route, and some freight built in 1963 The DB Class V90 locomotive is a German road switcher diesel-hydraulic locomotive for shunting and freight hauling this will also include the high entry Dostos with this route whats included? 72 km route from Salzburg to Mühldorf 13 detailed stations Double and single track sections, unelectrified scenic railway DB BR 245 Diesel Locomotive in DB Traffic Red livery DB BR 294 Diesel Shunter
Honestly, I would love to see this in TSW2. It ticks all the boxes: It's a decent length, has unique stock, away from the never ending list of electrics, great scenery, vast DLC potential, a fairly wide array of services AND for the first time in TSW2, crossing international borders! It definitely would be a pleasure to drive this one.
Excellent idea and furthermore your route does end at Salzburg Hbf linking your suggestion with my Salzburg Wien Hbf route the Westbahn. The DB BR294 can work this route & Westbahn Salzburg Wien if made by sharing Verschiebebahnhof Salzburg Gignl with ÖBB1163
