    Hello, all
the railworks.exe of the today's update is blocked as trojan by my AV. The 64 bits exe seems fine. Still the steam update cant end, even with AV disconnected..

    Any suggestion ?

No idea, mine was fine (AVG).

If Steam is set to start with windows then disable that in Steams settings for now.
    Now restart your PC.
When PC is restarted go to your anti virus software and disable it temporarily, there must be a setting, they are all different so I advise you google your particular AV software to find out how.
    Now start Steam.

    See if that helps.

I just checked the 32-bit and 64-bit executables with no issue. This is with Windows Defender, mind. Since it clearly is not a virus, perhaps adding it to an exceptions list would help?

    Plus
Report the issue to the AV provider as a "false" positive so that they can fix it.
In some rare cases, you may need to temporarily disable UAC as well.
Try to install via Windows SAFE mode - another option.

Thanks all, was able to update by disabling the antivirus and making an exception. All is working now. Thanks again

Get a real Internet Security and then you never have any problem.

I am using Kaspersky Internet Security and I have never had any problem with it or any game and you are safe!

I am not going to argue with you, but I will giggle at this.

If you start using it you will not giggle.

You will be happy that you have started to use it.

I stopped using Norton and went to Kaspersky.

Norton became worse and worse for every year.

I use Windows Defender, personally, and I've never been steered wrong by it. It works quite well, and third-party antiviruses just slow my system down a lot.

If you're comparing Comrade Kaspersky to Norton then yeah, no wonder you noticed an improvement, Norton is just corporate bloatware.
