Travel By Train is having a Halloween Sale https://travelbytrain.ecwid.com/?fb...O6Lo2rZdtO4tUPMfWsFcnRXCL-64Yj3ABj2f-29xBqq0g
Guys, Caledonia works promo today. Quote: "USE PROMO CODE: "CWFLASH" Sale ends at midnight Tuesday. Sale does not include rolling stock or add-on packs. MY NOTE: seems to be a 30% discount.
Steam Halloween Sale 2021 begins on October 28, 2021 and ends on November 1, 2021. Starts tomorrow evening at 6pm Confirmed Might buy the CSX Hanover route bundle And Standard Class 4MT loco Steam: Class 156 loco LNER BR Class 43 ‘HSTrain’ Remastered If the price is right. There are two more Steam sales after this one. Steams Black Friday sale starts four weeks today and the big Steam Christmas sale begins eight weeks today. Also over the Christmas period there will be others sales with Armstrong Powerhouse and Steam Sounds Supreme and others. A new release the NEC Scenario Pack 2 will be ready for service on Train Simulator this Friday October 29th.
Just checked Steam and hardly anything appears to be on sale. EDIT: Now the website has caught up, there's much more showing on sale. Seems to be discounts of predominantly 50% or less, which is better than nothing but not as good as some previous sales.
It will be worth checking back tomorrow. DTG's DLC sometimes misses the start of the Steam sales, but gets discounted later.
Most of what DTG has is on sale apart from some of the newer items - the discounts are fairly low though
Last weekend of the ballast tamper being available for £9.99 (£8.99 with an ATS sub)... If you're on the fence about picking her up, please see the link below: https://www.facebook.com/goldstartrains/photos/a.104777851901322/135023055543468/ Hope you all have an awesomely spooky Halloween weekend
The Konstanz-Villingen + Villingen-Hasauch twin pack has a very good deal with 55% of discount, great route
it's normally around 6pm GMT. Might be slightly different this year as UK clocks go back this weekend and US clocks don't.
The sale will end at 5pm tomorrow, but it won’t be long before the next one begins on November 24th. Three weeks on Wednesday.
A handful of selected routes available on Steam until tomorrow. The Steam Singles Day sale has just started! https://bit.ly/Steam-Singles-Day-Sale-TS2022… You can find great discounts on selected routes and locos in Train Simulator 2022. Sale ends November 12th!
Keep your eye out between now and the end of the month for Black Friday sales. Steam BF sale starts on November 24th and last year, Bossman Games and Just Trains had Black Friday sales.
here's currently a flash sale over at Gamesplanet on a few select things https://uk.gamesplanet.com/search?query=train+simulator
They are not selling TS2021 as the primary. They are selling old versions of the game for those who might want the routes that come with them. Even if you bought TS2017 new it would update to TS2022 when you installed it.
Don’t be sure about that. Steam reduced their sale percentage in their Halloween Sale, so Black Friday reduced prices may not be that good.
Ah, so they never sell the current version. Noted. Too bad they don't have the old regional packs, or the 2020 German (or was it Swiss?) pack might be something I'd look for.
I'm aware of this. They're just more expensive. But they seem to pick different Swiss routes each year, so I'll sure they'll go into another version. Maybe in 2024.
Individually they are more expensive but If you have already purchased one of the routes then the package does not always add-up. They might even do a Swiss package this year - never mind in two years time.
The Swiss bundle usually adds two, I think. If you own one of the two, then yes, it doesn't make sense. But if you own Neither, those usually wind up cheaper. You then can decide regarding the Deluxe Edition and the pricing of that individual route to fill out the full annual collection. This year is interesting. Chinese is a joke since the base game is not included, but I have Longhai Railway. Fife Circle was in 2021, so UK is covered. US gives Hudson Line, which I haven't picked up yet and planned for individual acquisition at some point. Bahnstrecke Riesa is individual in German and fairly new, so it's an option. For Swiss, I picked up Gotthardbahn already (likely another bundle), so Engadin would be the pickup. I have to watch these individual routes but still have the Deluxe Edition in mind, anyway. Regional bundlres don't add up for me now.
This is the week for Black Friday bargain sales, so watch out for the Steam and Just Trains sale starting on Wednesday. RSSLO sale has already started, with up to 50% off on this year’s products on locomotives, routes and scenarios. https://www.rsslo.com Don’t forget DTGs fall sale ends tomorrow.
JaneyBananey, RSSLO sale is only for products released this year so the discounts are generous. Their Christmas sale in four weeks time will have discounts across the whole range of products
To confirm the discounts I see: Germany: - Holzkirchen - Wörgl Route - 30% off - Linz - Passau - 20% off - Salzburg - Mühldorf Route - 40% off - Combine - Bayerischen Maximiliansbahn (merged route) - 20% off Austria: - Combine - Südbahn (smaller merge than above and slightly chreaper) - Combine - Western Austria (same price as above entry) - Drautalbahn Route - 20% off - Giselabahn route (looks like it needs external assets from other products) - 40% off - Salzburg - Schwarzach-St. Veit Route - 30% off Scenarios: - Two packs at 30% and 40% off respectively
It is the middle section of the line from Schwarzach-St. Veit to Saalfelden. The two outer sections Salzburg to Schwarzach-St. Veit and Wörgl to Saalfelden are required to make a full 190km route. I think it would be better if RSSLO made a package with all three sections included - currently it works out at 69 Euro And it will be more when the sales are not on.
While I agree it would be nice, AP is in the UK and I don't know whether Black Friday is really a thing there.
AP sales are normally every four months. April, August and December. Two Black Friday sales start tomorrow.
Steam sales are usually whenever DTG randomly decides it's a good idea to try to get people to spend money.
The sales might be a good time for an SSD, for those interested in reducing windows/game/route/tile load times. It's established tech, so prices are tumbling. This one's well reviewed - https://uk.crucial.com/ssd/p5-plus/ct500p5pssd8
Just Trains Black Friday Sale - great savings on Train Simulator loco and route add-ons! https://www.justtrains.net/category/black-friday-sale-2021 ends 30th November Steams sale begins at 6pm.
Disappointed the MML Sheffield - Derby is still at Full Price so I will give that a miss for now. Not seen much else to interest me
If interested in VDL Phase 3, may I kindly point out that the Met and S7+1 bundle is at its lowest price ever. Still high, but its lowest price ever. Never keen on $40 for one route, especially when the bundle includes a necessary train for using on it because none come with the route, but this gives you the fantastic freeware route access, so it's not all bad and I'm considering it.
