Hello Ok I think I have passed level 1 in scenario creation, finding it a very slippery beast to control and a little elusive. I am trying to create AI in a scenario for the first time and in trying to do so I get in a muddle with scenario markers. Static trains and rolling stock yes no problem, but multiple AI that move to routed stops and destinations eh eh!! Must be a document on it somewhere?
The only difference between a Player Train and AI trains is the Player Box is ticked in the timings. In the UK most routes are double track and if you are going in one direction the AI is going the opposite way Although the player train might go the full length of the line the AI trains only need to run a short distance. You only see the AI trains going the other way for a small amount of time as you approach and pass them. There will be Portals on the route and you can run the AI in to those Don't try to use a portal to generate the AI - it does not work properly from what I have seen. The AI would be parked on the opposite line to direction of travel and at least two signals apart. On Single lines at a passing point the AI can be either in the platform or waiting on the single line and the arrive a few mins after the Player Train but don't sent them on to the same single line the player Train has come off. https://sites.google.com/a/railsimdev.com/dtgts1sdk/reference-manual/scenario-editor Peter
