Now that West Cornwall Local is up and running, would anybody else like to see a separate DLC for St Austell - Plymouth, maybe going as far as Dawlish? The route would be 29 miles St Austell - Plymouth, 61 miles St Austell - Dawlish and would call at Par, Lostwithiel, Bodmin Parkway, Liskeard, St Germans, Saltash, Plymouth, Ivybridge, Totnes, Newton Abbott, Teignmouth and Dawlish. The trains would be as follows: GWR class 43 HST GWR class 801/802 Cross Country class 221 GWR class 158 GWR Class 150 Cross Country class 43 HST And then let's not forget the famous sea wall at Dawlish! Just a thought everybody, let me know what you think!
Excellent idea and regarding the class 150 it can use the Rivet Games Class 150/2 shell with GWR Seats instead of the original 1980s British rail seats. Also giving service to WSR.
This sounds amazing! As a St. Austell native, it was slightly disappointing to see the WCL line set in the 90s, so a chance to at least see St. Austell updated would be lovely. Personally i’d like to see CrossCountry trains as it’s always good to see a new make.
Great suggestion as DTG seems to be "extending" existing routes. Just on a different map. I will buy it if it comes out, as long as Rivet does not touch it. Also im suprised CrossCountry have not made it into other UK TSW2 routes, CrossCountry are like ICE but in the UK.
Why would you finish a route at Dawlish? No services start or terminate there, Newton Abbot or Exeter are far more sensible options.
Good idea in principle I’d definitely be interested once the class 150 in Cornish route actually sounds like a sprinter
No thanks. Having to switch routes at St Austell for a full journey to Penzance would get annoying, especially as it isn't really an ideal stop/start point for a route (and I still don't understand why WCL ends here?). Same goes for Dawlish, which would be better featured as part of an Exeter to Paignton/Plymouth route.
Cool suggestion! Its time to see an IET in TSW, but tbf LNER IET would be way better, but i don't mind to see the GWR one! Finally Cross Country in TSW2 woudl be awesome too!
