Vintage electric traction - DB BR118 019-9 on an early morning express service. (Wutachtalban: Lauchringen - Immendingen Route) Although designed and first built in the late 1930's the last units were still running express services up until 1969 and continued in local regional / charter service till 1984
The fall afternoon lights emphasize the colors of the PRR GG1 and the surrounding uniform trees rather nicely. North Jersey Coast Line / WS - South Amboy Local - PRR GG1, 1949 Autumn
The Class 76 was my obvious second choice, I didn't really play others yet (unless the DB BR 151 counts). ... Unless, a bit of clarification: do EMUs count? The model being rather matte and Woodhead lo-fi I don't think any of my shots are competitive, but I like the mood of this one.
Vintage shot of 76 033 hauling steel, whilst a 1970's ERF flatbed lorry waits at the crossing. Loco:- Class 76 Route:- Woodhead in Blue
A Class 421 EMU (4Cig) heads onto the Lymington Branch Line on a frosty morning in the New Forest. Loco: Class 421 Route: Southampton to Bournemouth
Thank you to all that voted for my previous entry. Had to delete in favour of this one. Vintage Krokodil OBB 1189-02 on the Three Country Corner route.

A pair of GE E-33's (Designated EF-4's by the NYNH) lead a northbound freight thru New Haven, CT, bypassing another freight that is bound for New York. The New Haven bought the locos from the Norfolk and Western in 1963 to replace 1910's era boxcabs. Route: Springfield Line: Springfield – New Haven Locomotive: GE E33
Double 87's fly towards Carlisle with a Crewe - Coatbridge Intermodal as an 86 drags a stricken 47 and it's coaching stock towards Preston
Next station is miles in the distance. An oldie but goodie, Amtrak P30CH on the Silver Meteor Service in the early 80's Equipment: Amtrak P30CH Route: Miami-West Palm Beach
Yes, the P30CH fits the theme of the week as it is an older diesel electric locomotive from the early 70's. There are other screens posted previously in this thread with the diesel electric locomotive from the mid 1950's and EMU from the mid 1970's. There are debates though of how old an item must be to be considered vintage.
370006 Over Shap Not far North of Oxenholme, APT-P 370006 powers under a casual road bridge, taking on Shap in a powerful manner. Route: West Coast Main Line Over Shap Loco: BR Class 370 ‘APT-P’
Never really thought about posting this picture but I'll have a go. It is RhB GE 6/6 ii on Surselva Line. Route: Surselva Line Loco: RhB GE 6/6 ii

P.S. not in theme of here, but I'm really glad what people stay, play and sharing they screenshots from old, but still playable TS) Keep it up, guys
Some really great Vintage Electric shots well done everyone. This weeks winner with this lovely shot of 2 OBB 1189s is Cuddy_Man, Congratulations. Have a great weekend everyone. Next Weeks Contest : https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/ts22-screenshot-contest-week-48-december-2021.49498/
Thanks guys. I'm pleased to win this. Perhaps I can also give a shout out for the Tauernbahn route by RSSLO? It's got majestic views, epic civil engineering, abandoned historic infrastructure and because IRL it's been largely modernised it's a relatively fast 50-80 mph run, unlike the 20-35 mph grind of many North American mountain routes.
