I purchased the Sherman Hill Route. Played with it for a few days and then went back to Sand Patch and there in the menu next to the CSX SD40-2 and the other locos is the UP SD70Ace. I ran it on several trains and works perfectly. I was about to ask if this could be done using locos and cars from one route to another. I would love it if the center beams and coil cars could be included on different US Routes. Anyway, has anyone else experienced a loc from Sherman Hill Appearing on a different route. I did a google search and saw that some guy in CZ could supposedly move cars and loco's around, but I never got further on it. If anyone could help, that would be great Thanks Tim
Further to the above. I ran the Cumberlands to Selkirk Manifest and it had the UP Ace on front with a CSX SD40-2 and in the yard was a UP GP38 and an UP SD40-2 attached to a CSX GP38. Kinda boggles the mind how this happened. Also are the regular CSX GE's as helpers which work. Would love to get all the different types of freight cars from other routes over there.
So far, it's only Sand Patch that has a variety of locos from other routes (CRR, Cane Creek, Sherman Hill) to be subbed in. (which is not good for the most part) As for rolling stock, Dovetail will need to fix the substitution (that doesn't break cargo weight) in order to see more variety of cars from different routes per train. But for now, Oakville is the only one to have mixed freight cars subbed in from other routes.
It depends largely on the route timtimtimbo some of them are fussy and will only except substitution of certain locos, some will be fairly wide in scope (e.g. Sand Patch) and will accept nearly anything that suits the rails and power. Sand Patch will take nearly anything. Clinchfield is more fussy as is Cane Creek. Generally each route will only accept trains from their own country except in off the rails where you can run whatever you want. Ever tried an AC4400 on Arosa? You can. Paul
When I use the scenario Planner it limits me to how long I can have the consist. Is there a way around that?
OK, I am close to figuring this out so I will try to explain. I downloaded the TSW livery manager and got the correct Net core 3.1 and it loads. There are two problems. For some reason I have to hit the exe file every time I want to load it I thought it would show up in my menu of programs and not have to hit the exe every time I want to load it. Obviously, I am doing something wrong. Then C:\Users\Tim Newton\OneDrive\misc\Documents\Documents (1)\My Games\TrainSimWorld2\Saved\SaveGames\UGCLiveries_0.sav Then I set library directory below C:\Users\Tim Newton\OneDrive\misc\Documents\Documents (1)\My Games\TrainSimWorld2\Reskins I made a reskin folder as shown above I downloaded some loco reskins of BNSF Ace and NS 5 different Aces. They show up in editor of left side and I them import them to the next free space on the right. I go to livery designer in the tools section of the game, and they show up there and if I want, I can edit them etc. When I go to the scenario planner and try to make up a train, they are not listed Can someone give me a clue how to rectify this? Thank you for your help
You probably want to start your own thread so you get some help. It also sounds like you're using a 3rd party hack to transport liveries so you might be better off asking on the TrainSimCommunity discord https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/ although people here may be able to answer.
