hi, if i was to buy a TSW 1 DLC (such as the GWR) will it go to my TSW 2 account without me having to buy TSW 1? Or will i have to buy TSW 1 so then the DLC will go to my TSW 2 acccount.
You need to own TSW1 (or TSW2020) on the same platform you own TSW2 on (so if you have the Steam version of TSW2, this'll only work if you get the Steam version of TSW1) in order for you to get the TSW2 version for free. You don't need it installed.
ok thanks Cam, one last thing. If i was to buy now TSW1 deluxe edition on steam i got some DLC's as it says so will those DLC's transfer to my TSW2 account?
Yes, if you also have TSW2 on Steam, you'll get the DLCs included in TSW1 Deluxe on both 1 and 2. This is why I often recommend anyone wanting to bulk up their TSW2 library that they buy TSW1.
Currently TSW2020 is 30% off on Steam: that's four routes for $21 (Great Western, Long Island Railroad, Main-Spessart Bahn and Northern Trans-Pennine. I'm not counting Sand Patch because a revamped version comes with TSW2). 5 bucks and change per route is one heckuva good deal (especially since MSB is the urquelle for German train layers in other routes). The Deluxe Edition, not so much. The extra $15 just gets you one additional route, Peninsula Corridor, which you can buy separately on sale cheaper.
I'd be happy to buy this, if it was available on Epic Games Store. Those routes are offered there since recently, but only separately and for full price.
