We already have ICE 3 on TSW2. But there are other models of the ICE family not available yet. - ICE T (tilting train) - ICE 4 Note: This model is replacing the ICE 1 and ICE 2, so I do not include them on this Thread. Despite of that those older models could be added in the future too. - ICE 3 VELARO This is the new generation of the ICE 3. But the original one, it is very attractive (the nicest one for me!) This new one is very similar in design wise, with the new Eurostar Hopes we have some of them on TSW2 next year!
ICE-T DLC Riesa-Dresden or SLE Schnellfahrstrecke Leipzig Erfurt for the correct ICE Line 50 Frankfurt Am Main Flughafen to Dresden via the former East Germany West Germany Border station of Bebra Gerstungen. Road crossing version is A4 Herleshausen Wartha ICE 4 Schnellfahrstrecke Rhein-Main with DB BR407 Normal Paint special livery TZ 9613 red face mask layers to RRO DB BR407 Green Stripe TS22 Mannheim Karlshule Appenweier-Strasbourg remade for TSW 2
As much as i like the ICE 3 velaro as well, i would prefer an ICE 1 or 2 first because it would add some more variety to the game. Realisticly i would guess we see the ICE-T coming out first.
If I could choose an ICE I would pick the ICE 1, I think it is just so cool and the flagship of DB. But I like the ICE 3 Velaro D as well
For the ICE 3 Velaro D it can have the TS22 Frankfurt Am Main to Strasbourg Kehl Appenweier Karlsruhe Railway via Mannheim Hbf re made for TSW2 as it's home route with the ability to layer on HRR SKA RRO & HMA. Non drivable on Rapid Transit
Yes, I like ICE 1 and 2 too. As mentioned on the original post, hopes this will be available in the game in the future too. Main issue mainly to the ICE1, it is a very long train. I remember Matt mentioning about the most complicated train they did, was the ICE 3. Due to, all the interior design for the different coaches, between other issues. And this is much shorter than the ICE1! ICE3 it has 8 vehicles, including the both head ends, and ICE1 it has 12 vehicles plus the 2 locomotives. Even I believe each one are longer than ICE 3 ones. But as we also have the ICE 8 x 2 train set running on TSW2, this could be possible too. ICE2 and ICE4 (in some cases seen on videos with less passenger cars) are shorter trains
I think it’s the number of different vehicles - with the ICE3, particularly the multisystem version, each vehicle has to be different because the coaches all have different engines, pantographs, etc. The ICE1 is easier because it’s trailers, like the HST or TGV Duplex. There are four different types: first class (x3) first class with guard Restaurant Standard class (x7)
I made now a suggestion for the ICE 2. Yeah I know it is very complicated, but I think that the ICE 1 is worth it. I mean the most cars are very similar. And the 2 power heads are the same. So you just have to build 1
Not really - all the Bpmz cars in a set are the same, same goes for the Apmz - it's just the other two types. So only four distinct types
Combine that with the powered units at each end, which are also the same, you get 5 unique vehicles, three less then the ICE 3. The ICE 1 and 2 both seem quite feasible, and I would love it if they come to the game one day . The ICE-T also feels like it will come one day, with multiple routes being fit for it and the tilting tech being developed for the BR 612. A 13 coach ICE 4 would be a nightmare to make probably though.
But still all this is easier to make than if someone would create a new train, so the real company that had a nightmare creating the ICE 4 for example is Siemens, because the only thing DTG has to do is to recreate the existing train
The designers at Siemens definetely spent more man-hours on the ICE 4 than DTG would have to on a digital copy of it . The two aren't really comparable though. And do keep in mind that Siemens sells their ICE 4 for a few million a piece, DTG probably won't .
The problem is the interior, because yes the exterior is the same. The interior is in the most cars different
I'm a big fan of the German Intercity Express, ICE3 and ICE T, I also love the ICE 1, ICE 2 and the brand new ICE 3 Velaro D and ICE 4. I hope that the remaining ICE rolling stocks will be available in the future routes or add-ons. Since BR612 will be available in the coming routes add-on, hopefully, the ICE T will be available in the future add-on too.
The only thing is, that these trains only as extra DLCs wouldn't be so good, if they would make a new route and then add the train it would be much worth to get the DLC with the train, for example if DTG would add the route Berlin-Leipzig than they could add the ICE 1 and the ICE T to the game, it they would add for example some route sections between the route Cologne Berlin than the ICE 2 would be good, and the other ICEs than for other routes
That will affect Riesa-Dresden because of ICE T running Flughafen Frankfurt to Dresden Hbf via Bebra DDR BRD Cold War border station
I would like to know which routes does the ICE T served? Maybe one of the routes where ICE T served can be a good suggestion for future DLC.
If you are wondering thing they also run on Schnellfahrstrecke Nürnberg Erfurt Leipzig with ICE Line 50 Wiesbaden Flughafen Frankfurt Am Main Riesa-Dresden service using it from Leipzig to Erfurt to reach cold war-era Border Station of Bebra Gerstungen.
Im all for this! I love the look of the velaro ICE 3 and the ICE 4's! Not to mention that they are some of the most Iconic German high speed trains! These are a must have!
Thanks for the comments about X2000, which is tilting too. But please notice I was talking about German high speed trains, as we already have several routes on TSW2 to use them now. For that one, Sweden must have a route on the game. May be this happens in the future! X2000 was also tested by Amtrak for the Northeast corridor!. But finally they do not use it.
