Since the epic version of the game, there has been leaking a lot of things, because that version is still sort of beta. U can just go into the game files and search things. Which is great for us (if its true ofc) same as the BR612 thas was in the lsit, Kimi confirmed that the BR612 was in that list but the rest was added

Does this mean the logos are available in Livery Designer?

Also beyond those companies which already exist in published DLCs this could hint at what we might(?) get in future releases?

I believe these files are what you see in the menu - for example, the route selection one (Dresden shows VVO, DB and MRCE, Brighton Mainline has Southern and GX, Cathcart has ScotRail, and so on.). Having done a little looking around. So I don't think these are for livery designer.

They will not, due license problem they can't make the logo's in the livery editor. It is show'n like that for their editor not for us...

My guess would be it's the result of the legal team covering all bases. Points for a quality clickbait headline for a collection of logos, though.

IIRC at least one logo found in these old datamines was for an operator where the licensing deal fell through, so it's likely it's a collection of ones they've approached at one point or another, but that only some of them went on to see actual inclusion in the game.

One is DfT and one isn't, so it's probably just as time progressed between the releases of East Coastway and Brighton Mainline.

I don't really see a lot of these happening for example BNSF and Thameslink. BNSF is a bit funny about their logos being outside the US and it looks like Thameslink has it's latest logo which was introduced when the Class 700 was introduced and we all know why the Class 700 is not in any railway simulators. However mabye DTG persuaded the Class 700 leasing company to make a deal. But that is extremely unlikely. So I'd say this is fake but that's just my opinion.

It can't be fake, it's in the files. It's also worth remembering these files would most likely have first been made for the rush hour update - when the logos first came into the game.

also, this "leak" was from all the way back in July it's just because a fan page that call themselves trainsimworld2 on instagram made a post on showing this that it came back again. wouldn't be surprised if it was just so they got loads of likes

perhaps this is a list off licences they intend to use at some point in the future or have tried to like BNSF, it could be what licences they have to use at this point or would bring back like BNSF if circumstances change

I know a while ago there was a stream about how a license issue made sure a route they were working on never released, they never said which route but my guess was a BNSF

    I believe your mistaken.

The original "leak" of licenses came from F-Block - I believe first posted in the TSC Server - following the release of the Epic Games Store version, it was a list of files from the games files, as the symbols used in the menus for different operators.
    unknown-1.png
Quick note, all of the licensors in this list appear in the group of images above.

Now, this has come back again (again from F-Block, I think) in image form.

Not a case of some "fan page" making stuff up for likes, not the case at all.
(This is my memory and knowledge, F-Block should be able to confirm if I'm wrong.)

Another theory suggests that, in order for these to be in the games files. DTG would have ALREADY done some sort of agreement for this, meaning that this could very well be true,

    but That’s just a theory

Also, now that I just take a step back and look at - I find the inclusion of the National Railway Museum strange. It's not really a railway/operator in the usual sense.

Something to do with steam, perhaps?

I'm still questioning Aiken on this list, as in why?

Its a 19 mile shortline railroad in South Carolina with tracks leased from the Norfolk Southern. They only own 2 locomotives, a pair of rebuilt GP30s.

ONE is also very much not a operator and is definitely not present in the main menu, yet they're there. I'm at a lost at what the thought beind that inclusion was. A Railway Museum still makes sense in the context of steam locomotives, but container branding?

I remember Matt saying in a stream that one license they either have or requested was with the railway museum but I can’t remember what it was for. This was in a stream maybe a year or so ago. It may have related to something in TS rather than in TSW, as talk in the streams covers DTG as a whole especially when talking about business related things like getting licensing.

I can recall him saying that in a recent stream, at the same time he was talking about how they get licences from long gone companies from the Department of transportation

This Wouldn't be a bad option for a dlc route dtg might still want a few shorter routes at 19miles and just 2 GP30's(They would be new for tsw2)and with dtg having alot of US railcars already on file,it be a nice little extra route to consider making.I would buy it.

Not every route needs to be super long.

Update:I just VIA Rail on the list now this would a great CN route or CNOVSD train add on.

Just look at IoW. Nice little short route, single kind of rolling stock. Still really fun to drive. (And as an aside - Class 484 DLC when, Rivet? :P )*

*I realise the issues inherent in that with the refurbishments to the line that allow the new 484 timetable to work meaning essentially rebuilding several chunks of the route, and making it impossible as a loco DLC

Licenses for things before I think 1956 int he UK goes through the NRM. Anything between 1956 and privatisation is through the DfT.

All I'll say is don't get any hopes up based on this.

With the AIKEN branchline it be right up dtg current alley, with them doing mostly new routes with only one new loco(+plus maybe a recycled one)and already having the type of rolling stock on file it being only 19miles it be a nice little route worth considering...the GP30 a good looking locomotive,DTG did west sumerset which is just a tourist railroad(23miles)and its seem abit out of place compared to all the others here,so this railroad atleast works as a good switching and shunter shortline route.

If they want a high-speed Austrian route then Westbahn Salzburg Wien. The high-speed section is actually Wien Hbf to Linz Hbf via St Polten that route has a big marshalling yard in Austrian German Verschiebebahnhof Wien Kledering. Entire route to Salzburg has Vbf Wels Salzburg Gignl Linz and Wien Kledering. However they have their own locomotives different from the Deutsche Bahn ones G6 DB BR363 204. Those are ÖBB 1064 Wien Kledering & Villach Süd ÖBB 1063 ÖBB 1163 Electric Shunter locomotives Diesel ÖBB 2070. The Austrian routes will add services to Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen Hauptstrecke München-Augsburg Main Spessart Bahn HRR IC118 Dortmund Bochum Essen Duisburg to Innsbruck Hbf via Bregenz. Interesting list indeed

I do believe these are true, but as far as we know they might just be a wishlist of what DLCs they want to make, I'd imagine that getting a license is the first step for creating a piece of DLC, but having a license doesn't automatically mean that you end up creating a product, or it getting released anytime soon (i.e. class 313).

That is interesting, especially since I don't see the Norfolk Southern logo on there, and we know they have that license with Horseshoe Curve already in production.

To be fair, considering it's a 3rd party route, there is a chance the licensor file hasn't yet been added. I'd double check this when Horseshoe shoes up.

    I'm so sorry...

If you own TSW 2 on PC (Steam/EGS/OneStore):
    1. Download & Install FModel
    2. Select the Paks folder (it's a folder inside the folder above the DLC folder where you put mods)
    3. Open the Core pak and navigate to TS2Prototype/Content/UI/Assets/LicencorLogos
