Use the switch for it. It's located right next to the red caps for the SIFA and PZB on/off switches. Turn off PZB before you switch the mode.
Hey Ravi, it is indeed available https://store.steampowered.com/app/1664951/Train_Sim_World_2_DB_G6_Diesel_Shunter_AddOn/
Just purchased it. Thanks! BTW, the Steam Store search funcion suggests this dlc if you search for "g-6", but not if you search for "g6", probably because only 2 letters is too short for the auto-suggest feature.
One reason why there is a "Shunter" written behind the "DB G6". You would not able to find it anywhere with the two letter words.
Thanks for the link. For some reason its not available in my Steam desktop app even after I have restarted twice now.
Hi Maik, Is there a manual or a video explaining the controls. I am running in the mainline scenario, "The Distributor" and I get a warning when I reach 40 km/h that I am going too fast. But the VMax of the loco is 80 km/h. I checked the gear and that is set to Long Distance. I am wondering what I am doing wrong.
There is no manual nor any videos. What you experience is related to the sceneario itself. The way from start to Heubing is restricted to 40, no matter what the track speed says. If you go faster, you get a warning, after 3 times you can start again The scenario instructions tells you that.
I know that manuals are important, but here we have a very good tutorial which explains how the acceleration and brakes work in their special way, for me it was enough to start driving on my own. Switches and buttons have their labels when hovering with cursor and they are quite self-explanatory. But, of course, there can be some users that will fell more comfortable with a written manual to recheck some steps they can have missed.
Or just to give some non-intuitive information, such as the fact that the cruise control only functions below 12 km/h if one is in shunting mode, not road.
You're completely missing the very important point that this shunter incorporates numerous features that are not mentioned, much less explained, in the tutorial or in any of the activities that I have attempted thus far. The labels to which you refer are not in any way "self-explanatory": simply naming a control does not explain how to use it or when. One clear example of this is the cruise control function; another is the power level switch; and there are others as well. Good grief, even the simple toaster that I recently purchased came with a user's manual; failing to provide one with a complex piece of simulated equipment such as this highly detailed shunter is simply inexcusable.
