PC Problem With Restarting A Dbg6 Activity

Attempting to restart a saved DBG6 Shunter activity fails: using any control produces message on monitor: "Power and Brakes Locked". There's probably a simple way out of this, but it's above my pay grade.

 

Brakes to release and throttle to OFF > then you can use the reverser again

Well, that didn't work. When I saved, the reverser was set to forward, brakes already set to release, throttle at neutral.

 

Or - both brake levers in the HOLD position, and throttle to OFF? In the midle, just like in the cold start tutorial. BR o7

 

It happened once to me, I forgot to set one of the levers at the other driver stand.

I may have found the solution, although it strikes me as a bit lame. However, at the Steam site, I removed the Dbg6 DLC and then downloaded it again*, which seems to have removed the problem. If it returns, I'll edit this post to report.

* To do this, open Steam, select TSW2, scroll down and click on "Manage my ... DLC" (right side of screen)"; in the window that opens, find Dbg6 and click on the boxed check-mark to remove it; after a few seconds, click on the box again to re-download.

 

Saves are bugged across TSW. Don't expect them to work.
