Sherman Hill Night Lighting

    My opinion: SPG style, good visibility, gameplay not interrupted \o/
    I hope this is the old-new standard.

    Havn't done a night run yet on Sherman Hill, but will definitely try it some point.

    I don't understand why there can't be a preference setting in the options menu.

    players that prefer realistically dark nights, shouldn't have to play with moonlit nights.
    and players that prefer moonlit nights, shouldn't have to play with realistically dark nights.

    This, is very subjective, it's true. I like the SH version more than for example CRR one (pitch black).

    Is there supposed to be inconsistency in the night lighting for Sherman Hill? In a few services, it's clearly moonlight but there is one service on the final journey chapter that is SO dark. Don't get me wrong, I prefer the darker, more realistic nights but why is it so inconsistent? I thought it was going to be the same for the entire route..

    Or option 3: realistic headlights that actually illuminate things.

    The basic problem here, most obviously with station/platform lights, is that currently the game turns them all on or off at a fixed time, which is the same year round. They really need to alter that parameter to a variable array of 12 values dependent on the month.
