So as many of us have heard DTG now has a BNSF license globally for TS but I doubt they passed up on a TSW one so I am suggesting the perfect first BNSF route for TSW2 Tehachapi Pass! obviously we have this route on TS and its 68 miles long so perfect for TSW2 as Sherman Hill for TSW2 is 76 miles long. The locos I would like to see on this route are BNSF ES44DC's and BNSF GP38-2's. As for rolling stock the same rolling stock that's used in the TS version.
This would be a day1 purchase fpr me regardless who made it. I really hope it doesnt take DTG half as long to secure global license from BNSF for TSW2 as it did with TS1
A reminder that Tehachapi Pass is actually owned by Union Pacific, not BNSF, but BNSF has trackage rights from Kern Junction in Bakersfield to Mojave. And the Mojave Yard is UP only.
So heard on tonights stream from Matt, that the BNSF license includes TSW. No plans announced but its a start
oh that's awesome! I'm sure we will see a BNSF route in the next year or so what time of the stream was it mentioned in?
I'd like a classic ATSF Tehachapi Pass with F7s in both SP Black Widow and ATSF Blue/Yellow Freight liveries (and also Warbonnet passenger livery), Alco RSD15s in both SP and ATSF liveries, and GP7/9s in both liveries. DLCs could include SP Cab Forwards, SP and ATSF Alco PA-1s, and others.
Definitely yes, though the Run 8 version will take some beating. And if they do it, please set slightly historically before recent double tracking and other improvements. As with Run 8, populate the various industries en route so we can run the locals out from Bakersfield and Mojave.
I think that’s awesome BNSF can be in TSW2 and I like the idea of Tehachapi. You can have both BNSF and UP. I would what’s in Run8 to be in TSW2 is defect detectors. I don’t know if DTG can include them.
