I’m getting ready to buy a freight route, wondering which one I should start with Canadian national oakville, Cane Creek or Sherman Hill? Any thoughts? I have Sand Patch and Clinchfield.
Of those three, I'd probably recommend Sherman. Though it does depend what kind of experience you like the most?
Well, it depends on if you enjoy the 25-30 Mph slower running and steep grades of SPG and CRR, if so then I'd recommend Cane Creek or Sherman Hill; they're both slower running and have some steep grades. If it's faster running you like, then I recommend Oakville Sub or Peninsula Corridor as the speeds on those routes is higher on average than SPG or CRR, averaging 50-60 Mph.
SPG Clinchfield Cane Creek Sherman Hill are the heavy freight routes. Oakville Subdivision and Peninsula Corridor are local freight. Remember Peninsula Corridor does Oakville passenger services if Baby Bullet was purchased
Oakville sub has long haul freight trains, too, but the consists are short. I have the Baby Bullet- and it does not layer onto Oakville sub.
Wait for the Preserved Collection Oakville Subdivision update that's when the baby Bullet will layer there. Thanks for telling me about the heavy Freight on Oakville subdivision Oakville to Hamilton Ontario with the extension being Maple Leaf North Buffalo New York Hamilton Ontario.
